GreenHeart Companies Positioned to Grow Commercial Construction

GreenHeart Construction Group was awarded a General Contractor’s License by the State of West Virginia

“Despite the pandemic, we are seeing steady growth in commercial and residential construction,” said GreenHeart Companies Owner and President Brian Angelilli.  “In this difficult time, construction matters more than ever and is an essential industry to lead the US economy.”

Founded in 1974 and incorporated in 2009 in Ohio, Boardman’s GreenHeart Companies prides itself on being a trusted partner for commercial and residential construction. GreenHeart has expanded its reach through four divisions: GreenHeart Construction Group, GreenHeart Homes, GreenHeart Restoration and Millwork, GreenHeart Property Management and Real Estate Group.

Last year, GreenHeart Construction Group was awarded a General Contractor’s License by the State of West Virginia (the 1st of 14 states in process) which allows GHCG to bid and work in the great state of West Virginia.

“We are thrilled with this opportunity,” said Brian Angelilli, President of Greenheart Companies, “because it will allow us to expand our area of service. We’ll also be able to continue expanding geographically into other states.”

GreenHeart’s GreenHeart Construction Group highly skilled construction team has completed a comprehensive roster of customized projects in 2020, including YSU campus loft apartments, medical, financial and retail centers.

GreenHeart Restoration and Millwork also was near completion of a 100 window, doors, and trim restoration project of the iconic Bentley Hall at Allegheny College n in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

In 2020, GreenHeart saw a steady increase of revenues over the previous year. The company now employs 42 and is active in Ohio, Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia in addition to its Mahoning Valley operations. The company’s focused growth in 2020 necessitated the hiring of additional project managers, site-superintendents and support personnel. The Property Management and Real Estate Group expanded, and John Angelilli became a licensed Real Estate Sales Agent.

Specific growth and transformation plans are underway in all of GreenHeart’s divisions for 2021:

  • Commercial Construction – a growth rate is expected for top-line revenue, including the addition of multi-state licensing for General Contractors Work.
  • Homes expansion of current residential development phases in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. A 25% growth rate is expected. Additional plans for 2021 include the continued development of GreenHeart’s residential communities : The Lakes at Sharrott Hill in North Lima, Bristol Park Estates in Boardman, Hampton Ridge Estates in Springfield, Reserve Run in Poland, Villas at Bricker Crossing in Salem and Wynfield Commons in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania.
  • Restoration and Millwork A new focus on buying, selling and managing property in Historic Districts will bring new opportunities. Windows and Commercial Storefront the newest GreenHeart Company is American National Glass, which specializes in commercial storefront fabrication and installation.
  • Property Management and Real Estate expanded to deliver quality property management and Real Estate Services. Acquisition of the Legal Arts and Gallagher buildings.

As the coronavirus pandemic continues, the construction industry remains resilient — even in the face of tremendous challenge.

“You can’t hang drywall from your house,” said Brian Angelilli. “However, we have taken the proper procedures to keep our customers and employees safe.”

  • Understand and follow CDC guidelines.
  • Develop screening measures for employees who have recently traveled.
  • Place restrictions on in-person meetings and other employee gatherings.
  • Train all employees on the 6-foot distancing rule, no handshakes, etc.
  • Establish thorough cleaning protocols at offices and job sites.
  • Maintain clear, honest and ongoing communication with employees and subcontractors, and perhaps clients and suppliers.

GreenHeart’s Construction Group Awarded West Virginia Contractors License

License will expand company’s Commercial Division

BOARDMAN, OHIO — GreenHeart Construction Group was awarded a General Contractor’s License by the State of West Virginia (the 1st of 14 states in process) which allows GHCG to bid and work in the great state of West Virginia.

The West Virginia Contractor Licensing Board (Board), with administrative and enforcement assistance by the West Virginia Division of Labor, oversees the licensing process for contractors.

Under West Virginia state law, anyone engaged in construction-related contracting in the state must be licensed, including general construction work, electrical, mechanical and plumbing.
